Races field in PEQ Database

How is the Races / Classes calculation done in the PEQ database? For instance, the Cryosilk Cap has Race: HUM ERU HIE DEF GNM IKS FRG DRK , that number is 55349 in the DB.

Bitwise math. Best to use an editor like PEQ or do the math by hand.

Go down and find the races. In that order, apply your math.

Since it was the math I was asking about, I wasn't able to figure it out. BUT, gemini was.
Human 1
Barbarian 2
Erudite 4
Wood Elf 8
High Elf 16
Dark Elf 32
Half Elf 64
Dwarf 128
Troll 256
Ogre 512
Halfling 1024
Gnome 2048
Iksar 4096
Vah Shir 8192
