Hello!
I'm developing a new EverQuest private server featuring expansions up to Legacy of Ykesha. My aim is to preserve the slow-paced, social, and immersive gameplay of classic EQ, while incorporating additional content from early expansions and carefully selected quality-of-life improvements.
Server Details
RoF2 client
Pre-Luclin models
Max level 65
Classic combat mechanics
Minor class & spell balancing
Improved boss AI
Buff timers
Shared local-only banking (currency remains global)
Bazaar (see below)
Guild & raid management windows
Custom approved-only UI enhancements
No Alternate Advancement
No Plane of Knowledge
No Nexus
No Firepots
No In-game maps
No target ring
No mounts
No boxing
No third-party programs
No monetization
Player-Driven Bazaar
The Bazaar remains a central marketplace, but traders must be present to sell. This encourages real-time interaction and a living, player-driven economy.
I'm excited to hear your thoughts! Any feedback on features, mechanics, or QoL tweaks that could improve the classic experience while keeping it immersive would be greatly appreciated.
