Wow, another update is scheduled to come out - lots of cool new features, bonus material for 35-60. It will only be available by patch, interestingly enough. I hope everyone knows to backup before downloading it should you want to buy it.

The coolest new feature is the froglok race. I guess that explains why frogloks are available in almost every zone right now.

hahahahaha, frogloks playable, thats hilarious!!!!! But it looks awsome, new item slot for charms, new items, new spells, MORE bank inventory, plus more, oh man this will be awsome, i can't wait!

Let me tell you.
EQ is getting pretty pathetic. They want to catch those last minute gamers, and try to make them keep the faith. Thats a load of BS. Right now the only MMORPG that will get my money is SWG, and im real skeptical of THAT because its run by the same jerks. Let me just see.

hehe, just be glad EQ ain't creating it as an expansion that you have to go out and buy, that would be more expensive. $18 is just fine. I mainly only want it for the expanded bank, that will kick ass.

I'm thinking about quitting EQ..have been for a while now. But this new expansion thing is trying to drag me in again.

I don't know, I think EQ is better right now then it was 2 years ago. The current dev team that took over after the old teams failure that is luclin is doing a pretty good job of giving customers what they want, when they can.

Plus it's good for the emu, the more they put out for EQ, the better the emu can become in time. :)

I would have much rather played a Goblin or Orc or Gnoll anyday at least in D&D those are available (well kinda) It would make more sense. But why cant they be Rogues? That is the only thing their stats will excel in.....sigh.

rogues being frogs? lol, starting with 70str? No chance in hell, I will just stick with barb rogues :P

but look at their AGI and DEX...only other race that matches that is Halfling...of course halflings have better STR too but still if those slow ass barbarians can be rogues surely the hoppy little nimble frogs can be.

Playable frogloks is more waste of time. They need to make more classes and balance the others.

Do this and release this one patch in an expansion and the non "last minute gamers" would most likely come back.

Last Minute Gamers that enjoy EQ for what it is... 65 shaman, monk, etc.

Well I played EQ from the beggining (took a year off after luclin came out, imo Luclin kinda ruined EQ for me) but I decided to come back recently and enjoy it alot now...still hate luclin...but I would much rather have been an orc or goblin still...makes helly more sense.

yea but look at the resis, best start swim in the game, and ultravision? that kicks ass for a starting warrior :)

I don't play characters for ultravision, i play them because they are good at what they do, and they are fun. Before I make a character, i look at the stats, if they are good, i make that character but if the character sucks, then i go to the next best. Like right now, i have a erudite necro on Live, because of stats and he is fun. I don't think frogs would be worth deleting a 39 monk for, but i will be deleting him sooner or later *mumbles nasty stuff about varent* I have 8 characters, nothing else to delete, hehe.

although i wish rogue was available when this comes out I am going to make a froggy cleric. For one I dont play characters mainly for stats I play for what will be FUN. My Main is a lvl 36 halfling warrior (yeah in almost 4 years of play my highest is 36) I have never played a cleric and think it would be cool seeing a froggy rez peoples.
