Ok, i bet some of you know the error that says that you should re patch right? well that says that if you have patched the EQ-Sony files before the EQEmu people are ready with thier. But what if you get that error if you HAVEN'T downloaded the patch? i was playing, got booter (not a too rare occurance) and i go to get back on and I cant, because i have that blasted error. so I think, hmm well I must have missed a patch ,but i didnt! can someone help me? or is it too late?

Do not do the last 2 patches. Your problem will occure only if one (or few) server(s). Try another one, or the same, but later ...

ok, they say that i couldn't be donw but i tried reinstalling and getting rid of all my everquest stuff, folders and all. Now i get into EQW and it says I have a Directln-somthing keybord error. Whats this? can i fiz it? PLZ help

Cause EQw 2.30 is for a certain EQ version you dont have any more ... you'll need to patch but if you do so, you wont be able to connect to EQemu.
Why didnt you simply wait to retry later on another/same server ?
Now you gonna harass "i cant patch ! u want patch ! i want connect! "

well, I did some work, installed some expansions that I forgot to before and yeah, i am gonna have to waitt but no, I wont be yelling at anyone to patch :? Believe it or not, I do have patient, I just dont know what this "DirectInput keyboard open failed!!" error is or how to fix it. If your saysing pacthing will fix the problem then thanks, I can wait for the next time you guys are ready. If its something I can fix, ide like to know that too so i can possible get my own network up. Thx for the info BTW.

Patching will do, yes. But you wont be able to play EQemu . So you have to be patient. Good luck, young padawan ;)
