Just wondering if your servers were affected. I tried to come here durring the chaotic hours of destruction, and was unable to. Just curious.

Thats what I thought. I was unable to come here, and the first thing that popped in my head was DoS. I just wasn't thinking straight, thanks for pointing that out /grinz

Since i'm sure it wasnt the site, i will say that it was due to your DNS Server. I now that Wanadoo (french ISP) use Win NT (with some MS SQL) on their DNS server and that this morning, i can join none server...

The worm seems to have had nasty effects on the internet in general for a while. It effectivaly became a DOS attack. See slashdot (http://slashdot.org/articles/03/01/25/1245206.shtml?tid=109) for some more info.

Yea, I was with it since the beggining. I was there when the first bugtraq email came in. I recieved a call from a friend who works at SCO (Caldera Linux) telling me about the problem, and that he wanted me to put up a mirror.

I have noticed a drop in the number of available sites, and a noticable decrease in bandwidth.

Sorry for bugging you with such an assinine questions :) Also, I saw the topic in #eqemu. Tried telling people that that was there cause of me; Dont think anyone cared. Oh, well.
