I've done a bit of searching and couldn't find any posts where someone had attached the PoP .cfg files..

If I understand correctly, there was an old app that would create a .cfg file when used in that zone on EQLive.. Unfortunately, I don't have an EQLive account anymore so I can't try to use that app to capture .cfg files.

The person who wrote that app created all/most of the .cfg files that were included with the distribution of 0.4.1.

I currently have 148 config files, but no PoP config files. I'm assuming that is why whenever I type:

#zone poknowledge

or any other PoP zones, I get an error saying something along the lines of:

"That zone is not available" or not ready or something.

If I use mysql and source planesofpower.sql, I get errors indicating a duplicate entry, which tells me that I do have the zones in the database..

Is the reason I can't zone due to the lack of the .cfg files, or some other database problem?

I'm using Telmet's most recent database distribution (although I've tried with others), which is a merge of 0.4.1 DB and his own.

If the problem is just the lack of the .cfg files, can someone zip up their .cfg files and attach them? I'm assuming these files are only EQEmu files.

For anyone who's interested, the next time I tested entering a PoP zone with Telmet's latest DB, I could get in.

Not sure what changed, but it does work without the .cfg files.

It seems the CFG files will just define the "safe coordinates" of a zone.. At least that is part of it's function. Without the .cfg file, you may need to use flymode/levitation to avoid a death.

Go here:

http://cecugfile.net/

And download Telmet's 0.4.2-DR1-Telmet binaries and then download his Database.

Pretty good all in all..
