Help Crashing To Desktop

I need some help everytime i log in ill be able to log on my character but when ever i try to type something or just push (ENTER) twice ill crash to my desktop. i did everything i was told to do like downloading all the files and extracting them to the everquest file and changing the eqhost.txt file. can anyone tell me how to correct this problem???

Same thing happened to me at school (a few minutes ago). It just crashes to desktop. I cannot stand my Intro to Windows XP class :? . I needed something to do and I dared to live a dream, to play EQ at school..during class!

Anyway, mine just crashed also =(

inspector_lee your problem is that your playing at school. Now i iknow it may have T2 or T3 but there is over 50 or 60 computers on a LAN at a school and your school might be a small part of a WAN
so connect into a server would be really hard at school

Eqemu wont work for everyone. This has always been true. Europeans have problems because of the across-atlantic bandwidth crunch. Also, you MUST have an english install of Everquest. anything else will NOT work.
