Server forum or page ?

How about having a forum or page off the main site for people to advertise thier servers and maybe give a short discription or rules ?
I was poking around the public servers today and it would have been nice to see what makes one different then another and sort of hardware/connection it was sitting on. Might help build some server communities

Most of the major servers have there own forums...GuildWars has theres at http://dmicale.com/forums, and im sure Foreverhacking has one too.

Cool . Then how about a page with links to them off the front page ? Most of the open source mmorpg projects have something similar. Maybe even allow a banner for the server.

We are working on this already.

We are thinking of 2 options. You can have a http://eqemu.com/servername redirect that frames your page and keeps the current status of the server on the top frame (very small frame).

I was also thinking of setting up a completely other forums system just for servers (A category per server, with Mod access to whom you wanted for your category). And the other forums would use the same user/pass as this system.
