Have a favor to ask...

Well see I need a picture or two, but unfortunately I have no way to do get a picture that I want in game anytime soon. I am quite interested in this project, but my client is patched :/ So, I'm screwed until the next release.

In any case, I was um, wondering, could anyone here do me a favor? I would like a screenshot or two of a Gnome Wizard, named "Smartypus McGnome" in a Wily Warlock robe (or Shiny robe of the underfoot, both look blue), with a Staff of the Four (wizard epic) and Ornate Rune Shield (cuteness factor) on a white pony (more cuteness). :p Anyone volunteering?

Please email it to me, or post it here. :) And great project here guys, I'm a C++ coder myself and am going to look through the code when I get a chance (it is public yes?)

And please don't flame me over this, I'm in a Gnomish Environmental Suit.

we don't have wily warlock robes.. or shiny robes of underfoot.. or horses.. and I donno about the ornate rune shield.. Sorry ;)
And anyhow you can play on gotfrags server.. just patch your eqhost.txt to "eqlogin.gotfrags.com:5997"

Huh? I thought the latest version 0.2.3 does not work with the latest EQ because one of them patches screwed up something... It doesn't work for me...

I did see bridles in the database though. And a staff of the four. I'm going to check for the robes. :)

/sigh that makes it difficult.... no blue robe available. I suppose I will have to stick with a Tolapumj robe (which I have on Vazaelle)... At least you have the epic and shield :)

Now tell me, if I have items to add to the database, how do I do that, and how do I pick the robe texture and color?

I think you can use EQAdmin.. But in any case Gotfrags.com the server works with live client.

To add items to the database, download the packet collector from the files section on the mainpage. Run that when you play on EQLive. As soon as you log in, it will "capture" all items on your character and in your bank. Once that is done, you hit CTRL + C in the dos window Packet collector is running in and it will send items not in the database to.. well.. the database. :)

If you need instructions, stop into the IRC channel, I'm sure someone would be willing to help. :) That's where I figured it out. :P

Alright, I will do just that. I have a shiny Robe of the underfoot on my character on Vazaelle....but no staff of the four or horsie yet :)

Gotfrags has alot of items on it. Try the robe of inspiration for a blue looking robe, and i know staff of the four is on also.
