A "legit" server on eqemu can be configured so that you level at a very rapid rate. This allows for more balanced play without the time requirements of "EQ-Live" leveling.

Characters, items, money, and stats are all saved. You do not lose them when a server is offline.

Some people like to have a feeling of accomplishment and don't mind spending a few hours building a character. Would you rather play on a PvP server where everyone instantly logs on and executes a few commands to give themselves the best equipment and highest level.. or alternatively spend, lets say 2 hours, building a staticly saved character that's on an even playing ground.

If all you want to do is run around #killing dragons and summoning the best gear that you will never attain in a legit manner at least put in the 30 minutes of time it takes to setup mysql and run an eqemu server. If you are non intelligent enough to do this yourself with the myriad of FAQS available then you deserve to have your head shoved up a cows ass.

There is definately room enough for both breeds. We are not stopping you from configuring your world in any manner that you wish.
So stop fuc king complaining about it!

It just goes to show everyone carries out their business differently.

Sadly, there are some who knowingly, or unknowingly, carry it out in such a way as to offend others.

I'm beginning to sound kind of like a psychiatrist... damn it...

you know, for people that don't give a damn for what i think, you're certainly spending a lot of time telling me to STFU.......

shall i ask the question yet again?

or are we now redefining what "legit server" means to suit our own purposes at the present time?"
