Ok a little background about myself. Yes this is my first post. I haven't needed to post. And yes this account is fairly new. But I've been around for awhile. I just started using public login servers a bit ago.

This forum was and still is a great tool. But it is becoming less useful every day. When I first heard about this project I searched and dug and found every answer I needed without posting. Now that I'm no longer working with a couple other open source projects, I have the free time I want to work on creating a world and contributing back to this community. But useful information is getting buried under subjects that mean nothing. Or even worse the same questions are getting answered over and over again. Now when I search for an answer instead of finding it in 20 minutes. I spent and hour and a half going through posts that had worthless subjects to me. I actually had to read the threads to even determine if it would be of help.

I think this project has some great developers, and I have nothing but praise for them. But this forum needs some moderation. And some people need to learn some tough love. Open source projects aren't for everyone at certain stages. I've watched the developers bend over backwards helping people and holding their hands step by step on things they could have searched and found themselves. I would have snapped if I were them.

I'm a programmer, in both windows and linux environments. I know that helped me alot in getting all my issues worked out. But still, with some basic reading comprehension and the search function on this board I could find answers for everything I wasn't sure on.

Developers, again I have nothing but praise for you. Thank you for your hard work. I plan to give back to this community soon.

All you others contributing back, you are great. Too many to name in this already long post. But you know who you are.

But if not for the idiots, how will it become idiot proofed?

I do believe that there should be a "delete list" for anything that is asked where the answer can be found in the Readme or the FAQ.

Other than that I have nothing but praise for the Dev's as well. TrumpCard is much more kind than I ever could be, or ever will be. And, thank you Trump for all your previous help.

Don't cater to idiots. Universe will always win that race. It produces bigger idiots everyday.

Glad to help, and thanks for the compliment Ayuk. ;-)

I for one believe that it is a community, we all have something to offer to help progress the project ,whether it be insight, suggestions, bug reports, code, or just encouragement. Glad to hear you've decided to get more involved and help O.K., lots to do still ! Good tools, code additions/modifications/databases are always welcome.

I do tend to agree, there is alot of redundacy in threads. I've noticed that every few months there is a big influx of new folks into the project, so we repeat that vicious cycle of questions every so often.
