Spectre's aren't considered undead.
Pet suicides upon Feign Death. (in eqlive they waited like 1 min.)
Mana regen interrupts spells, and you can see it do damage to you.
Fear Doesn't work (probably because npc's don't run yet.)
The Darkness line of spells don't snare.
