Why Not Advertise?

Why doesn't EQemu advertise? I learned about this great emulator on the ShareReactor.com Forums and you should have seen the responses! If only people knew about it there would be more servers with 200, 300 or even 500 players on them. If EQemu ever decides to start advertising please let me know because I will talk to every web master I know about working in the banners. Also maybe an IRC channel would be nice (GamesNET would be perfect to put one on).

We don't need 500+ more people to troubleshoot... Wait until the server is closer to done. If you know of smart peoples, send them! We want developers!!

I also learned about this on Sharereactor (though i was also a close follower of the fairly unsuccessful hackersquest) and I must say that this is a great project. I anticipate it becoming very big, once the server is extremely stable, and people popping up all over the place with their own servers.

There already is a IRC channel (#eqemu irc.eqemu.net) Also for people with high-end servers, simply send them the readme http://www.eqemu.net/documents/readme.html . It has all the info needed to set up a server.

hey im getting a dsl connection soon. 356 kb or around there. Ill help host when i get it going. if you all think it will work.
