I'm just kidding! I do like it though. I got the game for free when I bought the network adapter, so I figured I'd give it a try. So far its pretty damn fun. Its not alot like EQ for the PC, but it has its own flavor. I just wanted to see what anyoine else who might have it thinks about it. Also, do you think there ever will be an emulator for it? Personally, like the rest of you I'm sure we all would rather have the original EQ emulated. Well, for those of you who do have EQ OA or maybe those who don't but might be interested in the game becasue it takes place in Norrath 500 years earlier than the PC version. I am going to mention a few things about it that I found weird or funny.
1. I've travelled all around Qeynos and all the way to Freeport. I haven't seen one Cyclops, or any form of Giant. :( What happened to them? I miss fighting the HGs in the Karanas.
2. What the hell happened to Norrath between EQ OA and EQ PC? In the PC version it takes what 5 or 6 minutes to walk/run to Surefall Glade? It took me a hell of a lot longer than that on EQ OA. At least 20 minutes or more. Same with getting to Blackburrow from Surefall Glade.
3. Blackburrow is alot tougher than in EQ PC I guess the Gnolls were more powerful back then. :) I couldn't even get inside the damn dungeon without getting my arse kicked :)
4. I hate having to share the continent with those damn Erudites :)
5. Food restores lost health and water does the same for power or mana. Nothing like that in EQ. Other than that food isn't required like it is in EQ.
Well, I guess thats all. I really do enjoy it. Its something different. Its not bad for a console game.
