feeling really stupid ATM please help!

ok first i am totaly new to this eq emulator so dont dump on me for trying to learn. I understand there is a way to log on to a server at sorce and play around with things in the game you probly wouldnt otherwise be able to acomplish without being able to be accepted into UBER guilds and beg for months for help to get a single peice of a huge quest. My Main question is if this is so how, where , and what do i need to achieve this hevanly state of playing. I am running Windows ME on my system I have been playing Eq ever since the release date and am BURNED OUT BAD becuase of the BIG V whom services ill keep my opinion to myself of. can someone please assist me here ive looked all around this site and ive obviously missed somthing somewhere that could probly answer these questions for me but im really interested in this emu and the potential of it.:confused:

not exactly as you describe. it's going to be a while before you find a game environment at the level you descibed.

the purpose here is to develop an emulator that can provide the same or better functionality than what you get at Everquest. But a lot of work still has to be done.

If you are interested in just exploring more of what is going on, there is a link on how to sign up at gotfrags and how to set up your client so you can log into the servers listed through gotfrags.

If you want to be your own game administrator and maybe just explore that part, you can do that too, but it's more work and involves some setup. I haven't had a chance to try out the new release 0.2.4.something so I don't know what has been changed yet.
