I followed the instruction explicitely in the readme found at this link : http://www.eqemu.net/documents/readme.html
Everytime I go to login and it doesn't matter what account I use be it eqemu or anything it rejects me and says I can't login to that account due to patcher server problems. I don't get it :/ Someone give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong please!! :)

when i had this problem i went looking through the forums. the way i fixed it was to open mysql.exe and type
insert into account
set name='eqemu', password='eqemu', status=200;
then open a dos prompt, change to the eqemu dir and type
world.exe flag eqemu 200
then try running eq and using the username "eqemu" password "eqemu" (minus quotes). hope this works for you

that worked, only one more question.....how do I run the "patchme" thing they mention in that walkthrough? EQW is being dorky and won't let me reposition the window :/

the basic idea is using a dos prompt change to your everquest directory and type "eqgame patchme" (minus quotes). there is a way to do it using shortcuts i've been having problems with that approach. what i did was make a .bat file in the everquest directory and put "eqgame patchme" in it then made a shortcut to it on the desktop. hope this helps out a bit
