MySQL CREATING Database Problems!!

Hi sorry I have read through all the tutorials and am having serious problems with

4. Now from "Winmysqladmin.exe" select the Database tab and right click the area for Databases and click Create Database.
Type in "eq" as the database name (without the quotes) and click Create database.

When I right click on this area I just get : Flush Server: Flush Thread and no create database options :(

I tried doing as suggested in another thread by running from the open box mysqladmin.exe create database eq but this doesnt work either : (

How the hell do I create a database in mysql? I have tried various differant versions and I cant see any options to do this?

Yeah.. they changed sumtin with the new mysql version that causes that problem. It is a user error kinda thing, but since i failed to figure out what i did wrong, i downloaded sumtin called : "MYSQL Front" from http://mysqlfront.sstienemann.de/

Works pretty well imo.
