Crash before character select

I've tried connecting to someones server with this as well as minilogin. I get all the way through the loading screen, it finishes... then I crash to my desktop.
I don't get any errors with this. I ran EQemu over a year ago and then stopped playing EQ all together. I've freshly installed everything, the patcher runs fine and it looks like all should be working until the crash.
EQemu Version 0.4.3 Win32
Video card is a G4 Ti4200
AMD 1800+ proc with 512 RAM
..edit..OS is XPpro

I've looked through the forums and havn't found anything I can use, but I'm sure I missed something. Point me that way if I'm being redundant. Thanks!

Im having the same exact problem, cant seem to find anything to fix it. Everything looks good and then crashes right before i get to char select screen. Any help would be nice, this is my first time using this.

1.7 p4
512 ram
nvidia 2
120gb hd
