Error 1017 on my server

I have a 1017 error when i 'm trying to connect to my server in local.

Are you running windows XP, have a firewall, or trying to connect through a router?

im running on XP,no firewall,and no router !!!

Go to your start menu, select run. In the run box, type cmd and press enter. When you get the dos box, navigate to your MySQL directory. Then run mysql.exe and type the following:


INSERT INTO accounts SET name='eqemu', password='eqemu', status=200;


Then type the following:


GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES on *.* TO '%'@127.0.0.1 IDENTIFIED BY '%' WITH GRANT OPTION;


Exit out of MySQL and the dos box, restart your zone.exe's and world.exe, and you should no longer be getting 1017 errors.

That's working but when i create my personnage,the server say me zone is not availabe

While you're in game? What's the exact message? If you're getting something like "This zone is currently not ready to receive visitors" (something along that line), then you might be typing the wrong zone shortname.

i'm not in game , when i create my personage and i click Enter world i have a black screen after a message in a window how say Zone Unavailable

that's working fine but my brother can't connect my server in local, WTF, he had a 1017 error
