1002 incorrect version

i was trying to create a self server to play.
i am full patched , so , i can't use the port 5999.
it only will say "1002: incorrect version"
i followed all stuffs in readme, all works , but i can't login.
becoz the port must be 5999. i mean mini-login.exe and world.exe. they will only search the server at port 5999.
i just want to change mini-login and world port to be 5997.

is there anythings that i can change the port ?
plz help !

if you do not have the new beta release, you cannot run eqemu because of the new patches, however..
if you have the new beta release then you should be working fine, just make sure you have boot5zone.win9x.bat running
you should always back up some main files before patching

i have the lastest release , but i can't use 5999 this port.
i had backup main files since 12/2 patch. tried all of them but still cant.
