Hello All

This is my first day using EQEmu and I've been trying to sift through the problems I've been experiencing. I continously receive 1017 errors when trying to log straight into existing servers. After I gave up on that I made a local server. However, when I log into the server select screen there is no server to select. I have already followed the steps outlined in:

I'm making slow progress, but I think something is messing up somewhere in the world.exe or 5zones.bat file. Can someone tell me how to make these run and print to a file so I can read what the screen is saying? My machine is making the screens pop on/off screen before I can read the words.

Any and help/suggestions are much appreciated.

go:

Start
Run
Type "command"

Then use cd *Directoryname* to change to a directory & cd.. to go up a directory so like this

C:\windows\desktop\cd..
c:\windows\cd..
C:\cd eqemu
c:\eqemu\

Then type the FULL filename of those files(boot5zones.bat etc) & see what comes up.
