I am new to Eqemu and when trying to log on with eqgame.exe it gives me this message "The EQGAME.EXE file is linked to missing export MSS32.DLL:_AIL_set_3D_speaker_type@8." I had to download the MSS32.DLL file of the internet because I was missing mine. Anyone know what this means and how to fix it. Thanks guys for all the help in advanced.

I hope someone replies, as I am having the same exact problem. I've tried reinstalling 4 times, and have run eqemu with and without the eqemu patcher, no difference.

If all of you are running EQ for the first time, my guess is you do not have directX 8.1 (or what ever EQ now requires)
You should probably try searching the Sony EQ boards for more info on this one.

I have DirectX version 9.0 . Not Sure if it works with it or not but I run Eq fine with it.

So you can play EQ Live ok, but not EQEmu?
You made a copy of your EQ folder, installed the EQEmu patcher to it, then ran the patcher? And this is the error you get when running "eqgame.exe patchme"?
