Ok well i did everything that seemed necesarry to be able to log on a server for EQemu and i followed this guys guide http://eqemu.sourceforge.net/shawn319/documents/readme.html which had said to come here in the first place. Well it says: Load up EverQuest (eqgame.exe) with the command line "patchme"
(without quotes i.e "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme"). I did just that at the patch screen and then when i click i get the message "Couldn't start program C:\Program Files\Everquest\everquest.exe patchme." I am not really that amazing at computers but i do have some basic knowledge of this kind of stuff. Its prolly some lame mistake i can't seem to see but heh can anyone plz help me out here?

Find the eqgame.exe file through windows explorer..

C:/program files/everquest/

wherever it is...

Find it, and right click it , and make a shortcut to it on the desktop..

Right click the properties for it, and add patchme on the end of the command call to eqgame.exe

You're probably not calling the right program, make sure its there, or cd to that directory through dos and type the command 'eqgame patchme' by hand...

(without quotes i.e "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme"). I did just that at the patch screen and then when i click i get the message "Couldn't start program C:\Program Files\Everquest\everquest.exe patchme."

The correct format is:

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\everquest.exe" patchme

be sure to put the quotation marks in the right place or it wont work.

EQW current doesn't work. You'll need an old revision

EQW 2.35 is incompatible with the version of EQ needed for EQEmu. I have yet to find a copy of EQW 2.32, which was the last known working version of EQW in relation to EQEmu.
