Easiest way is the use the Admin tool. (download it here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/eqemu/eqemu-admin-tool-2.3.zip ). This will let you set your permissions.

i got the admin tool already and i set permissions for an account but it won't let me do any gm things like i set it to do.
am i able to do gm stuff using the minilogin eqemu?

Yes, but the only account you can use in minilogin is eqemu.

alright but how do i set the permissions for that one login?
i read the readme but when i try to do it it just closes the world.exe window real fast
im having it execute
World.exe flag eqemu 200
is that right?

That's correct. Open a command box,
in the directory world.exe resides, type
world flag eqemu 200 (for minilogin)
-and-
world flag [accountname] 200 (for gotfrags, etc.. take out [ ])

Not all of the commands are in the readme, nor are they all displayed using #help. Here are a few examples of other commands...
#testspawn
#uptime
#doanim
#haste
#iteminfo
#save
#memspell
#version
There are more as well...

#help displays the list of help categories that your account is qualified to use. If you have a generic (status=0) account, then #help will return the "Normal" option. If you're status=200 (i.e. ServerOp), then #help would return a bunch of options like: Normal, PrivUser, vPrivUser, ... , ServerOp.
So, to see all the commands you will need to do:
#help Nomral
#help PrivUser
...
#help ServerOp
The easier approach is to print the README.txt and have that by your side until your learn the ropes.

I actually had to break down and print the readme.txt.
But once I did this, I then learned most of the commands.. sort of hard to remember commands :)
