Can anyone reply here or email me a list of step by step instructions for downloading emulator and getting it to work, ive tried and still isnt working for me

Try the readme at http://www.eqemu.net/documents/readme.html . if you have any specific questions, please post them in one of the support forums.

You may want to check posts under Spreading the Word. There may be useful information to you there, but none of it helped me so far.

Step 1) http://www.eqemu.net -- There you will find some links on the left side of your screen, simply drag your mouse over to the "forum" button and click on it. It should bring you to a PHBB forum.

Step2) Registering -- Okay, you are now at the Forums. If this was too hard, please click the "X" on the top of the screen and go to the store and buy "Computers for Dummies" return after you read the whole thing. Go to the top of the screen and click on register. After registering a validation request will be sent buy e-mail, go to your e-mail and click the link it provides. Lets say you registered as (Soandso = <Username> and sexymuffin = &lt;Password>)

Step3) Downloading -- Okay, remember that link I gave you at the begining? Well click it again. This time go down a menu from the one with forums. Click on "EQemu Patcher &lt;version>". You are now at a site that asks you to pick a mirror. Pick any mirror, just pick one. If your download doesn't start automattically, click the link it has for it to save. It asks you if you want it to run from it's current location, or if you want to save it. Save it. Save it on C:/program files/everquest, or whatever.

Step4) Installing -- Okay, after you save, go to the folder that you saved it into. Double click on it and it should bring up an installation screen. When you have a chance, SAVE IT INTO C:/program files/everquest OR WHATEVER YOUR EQ DIRECTORY IS. Now on the desktop there should be a icon that says "EQemu Patcher" double click this, and as soon as it pops up click the Play Eqemu button. It should patch. Get on as you would normally. When you get to the login screen, the type in Soandso (username) sexymuffin (Password) or whatever you registered. And wa lah~! Welcome to eqemu.
