a) Running on Windows XP Home Edition
b) Running my own server and crashing on Boot5zone.bat
c) EQEMU 4.3
d) Paste the text out of these files:
db.ini [Database]
host=localhost
user=BLOOD_kane
password=********
database=eq
compression=off

loginserver.ini [LoginServer]
loginserver=eqlogin1.eqemu.net
loginserver2=eqlogin2.eqemu.net
loginport=5999
loginport2=5999
worldname=BLOODkane's
locked=false
account=
password=
worldaddress=65.174.44.91

boot5zone start zone . 65.174.44.91 7995 65.174.44.91
start zone . 65.174.44.91 7996 65.174.44.91
start zone . 65.174.44.91 7997 65.174.44.91
start zone . 65.174.44.91 7998 65.174.44.91
start zone . 65.174.44.91 7999 65.174.44.91
exit
cls

eqhost.txt [Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}

e) And the error is when I start Boot5Zone.bat all 5 of them crash and I have to close them or send an error report. No clue why this happens

Also happens when i try to run a server just for me (1 person no internet)

Is it crashing when you try logging on, or right away after you boot em? If its crashing when you log on, before you log on, copy/paste your zone and world. If its crashing right after you open em, try and get a screenshot (print scrn key), and post that. Or run the zones (after world is running) through dos and copy/paste that onto here.

it happens right when I boot it up. and it stops along the lines of the EmuShare dll. The funny thing is ALL 5 of the zone dos prompts crash. Everything else works except this. may take a little for the SS it seems to be not uploading correctly

Boot up world, then go into dos (start -> run -> command), go into your eqemu directory and type in zone.exe, copy/paste what you see there and post that here, also post your world.exe. Do you have the emushare.dll file in your eqemu directory? You could also try 4.4dr1, I had the problem with 4.4dr1, moved to 4.3 and don't have the problem anymore. It could be the other way around for ya.

hmm it isnt zone.exe it has to do somthing with boot5zones.bat the error report says zone.exe but when i ran the dos prompt it gave this Using databast 'eq' at localhost
EQEMU 0.4.3 eRAMNotes Sucks!
Usage zone zone_name address port worldaddress

Its on the sourceforge CVS system... You use a cvs client such as the aptly named 'cvs' on linux, or wincvs for windows to pull it from the code archive.

my bad, I meant boot5zones.bat, run that on dos, it should stay open then so you can get the error. Try out 4.4dr1 off the CVS first (I don't know how to use the CVS, don't ask me, hehe), if you still have problems then post the errors.

well i found out i had 4.2...but i upgraded to 4.3 well the error went away BUT boot5zones.bat ran...and dissapeared. Everytime I tried to run it again it would instantly come up and dissapear again. So I said screw it and I got rid of MySql and EQEMU server thing....might as well just play it instead of getting errors for trying to play oh well

make sure your spells_en.txt is in your eqemu folder, thats proly whats causing the crashing
