First off i'd like to say how much i appreciate the services you all provide, not to mention the support you give. Basically i downloaded the newest patch there was, when i started the setup it asked me where i wanted to put it... the Everquest that i wanted to play EqEmu on was in the directory c:\EqEmu so that's where i put the patch. now when i double click the patch there, i get a runtime error 430... i've tried everything mentioned in the other topics, and i figured perhaps i just put it in the wrong folder, or i'm setting it up wrong. any insight :?:

did you put it in c:\EQEmu\patcher or c:\EQEmu?

if this would help, this is what the error says....

Run time error '430'
Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface.

Install this:

http://www.eqemu.net/patcher/mdac_typ.exe

That should take care of that problem.

Patcher worked and 1017? Are you using EQW?
