I've added what I think is the latest database from Drawde and although I get differing cons nothing scowls ready to attack. Although this isn't a big deal this early on my server it's something that will impact the difficulty later on. I've looked around the forums but there's nothing that lays it out what I need to do beyond modifying the faction section of the database. What part? values up or down? what values?

Also, I've moved requirements for all commands except #zone to like 100 and moved zone to 10 and have everyone default to status 10 on login but it says command not recognized(sic). It works on my gm account but not on others. Any ideas.

Also, I'd like, on my server, to transcend the standard classes. I.e. give spells to warriors and skills to casters. It seems even if one has a skill it doesn't show up on the skill window. Is there a way around this? Also, if I make a spell warrior usable can he open up his book, scribe it, open his spell window and mem it?

Thanks,

There are several different compilations of the server exe's floating around , not all of them have working aggro.
If you are using Drawdes worlddata1.1beta5 or the last release, the the exe's posted here will make aggro function.

The DB there is a compilation of Drawdes DB with all the items, npc, and DB updates already added and matched to run with those exe's, has aggro, npc casting, and works with Drawdes new Quests0.1 files.
It's a source , add character info and go DB.

Things do seem to con differently just nothing scowls to attack, I'll try using those .exe files.

Thanks

Thanks, that got it.

Any ideas on my other questions?

There seem to be some problems with faction with the .exes I recently posted.
Even though NPCs are assigned their factions properly (checked with EQEmuAdmin) they behave as if they are not on a faction, almost all con "dubious". (they also give no faction adjustment when killed).
No idea if this is a bug or related to a change in the DB structure. It's also odd that everything cons dubious, surely if not on a faction they should be "indifferent"?

That was the problem I was having. Note that not everything conned dubious. Some were a little higher some a little lower. I'm guessing there is some kind of multiplier on your base faction that was watered down or altered.

Have no idea though since I've neither looked at the code nor the database. Still very new to all this.

From what I understand, this is being caused by the new z-axis code checks...
