1042 Error: Different Language Than Server

I am a chinese user, and i buy the Everquest game. But my client is chinese edition.
When I login to the EQemu server, after choosen the server, the system will say that ,your language is different to the server language ,please log out the game and modify the same language to the server.

What should I do ....

where can i find the English edition of the everquest?

Or using other ways can solve this question.

have the 1042 error too, and downloading all possible languages is not working, for me at least ....

its a strange problem, because i can connect to some server and not to other ones .... (in fact, i can connect on green server and not on grey one, it include: Forever hacking(in the past hehe), guildwars, raid addicts, krusher's)... others server cant connect ...

This may not work for the localized versions (e.g. European versions distributed by Ubi Soft) , but it does work with the different language packs of the english version.

Edit "eqfecfg.cfg" in your EQ directory.

Change "[LANGUAGE]{ xx }"

to
[LANGUAGE]{ 1 }
or
[LANGUAGE]{ 32 }

EQ seems to change the 1 to a 32 after logging in so both may work.

I am a chinese use also. I just wonder, I cannot open the eqgame.exe patchme with chinese version, but I can open from EverQuest.exe. Actually I just change the DataRate and eqhost.txt file, but I cannot see any record show on Minilogin. I am now using the 5.0.2 eqemu.

Finally what we need to modify to make the eqemu support other language ? for the different is just the spell_XX.txt ?? or we need to recomplie everythings by myself ?
