is a MUST have game if you like challenges! You don't necessarily have to have played 1 and 2, I played a little of Myst I, didn't like it to well. I seen it was out for PS2 also, haven't tried it on there yet. I have been getting hooked on Myst for the past couple days, I got all 3 for Christmas, played the first one and was stumped big time, even with a walk through! I haven't played Myst until a few days ago, I popped in Myst II and III, and found III is a lot better! Try it, you might like it :)
Before you buy it, I recommend you go out and buy some very nice speakers (soround sound would ROCK!). The sound on this game is just amazing, its the only game I can actually play loud. Also you need a dark room, no light.
Also, the requirements for the game are so damn low! 233mhz, 64mb ram, 8mb vid card, 200mb disk space (2gigs for a full install). You have no excuse not to try it :D
