Do you need to use the emu? I have the april 20thish one (one where they added the 12% backstab mods), couldnt connect, tried as well with a patch that was like 5 months old and didnt work either trying to connect to a server.

patch full with eqlive, then use the emu patcher

I don't know that one... Have you installed the mdac_typ.exe from where you found patcher on the main site?

dont see this file on the main eqemu site...
