I just installed everquest, but because of the firewall here, the patch/rollback (both of them) are not working at all. They give me a "check internet connection" error. How can I get the patches needed to get everquest running?

BTW, running EQW won't work until I patch my everquest. I suspect the problem might be with updateing my eqclient.ini which has practically nothing in it right now.

Ok, the problem is with EQW, it goes full screen for a moment for the first I accept screen and then goes back to windows, that's where it fails. Any of you know how to fix this?

Download eqw 2.32 (http://forums.eqemu.net/download.php?id=445).

About patcher refusing to work, try another ISP. Sorry if that's not possible.

Dang, found the prob, I have to get the files manually, that file is a server problem created by the firewall from the network I'm on. Can't get another ISP, no phone lines or cable lines, only the lan line in my dorm. Any way how to get the patch files manually?

No legal way - don't ask for the files anymore here or you'll get in trouble. You have to use patcher because it verifies that you have EQ. Sorry... Maybe you can patch at your parents' house when the quarter ends.

Oh well, no chance at my parents, too far away and I don't drag my stuff there either. Just read up some stuff on Lans and it looks as if I might be out of luck entirely.
