1002 error

ok i did exact to what the guide says to do:

1) Install Everquest
- (optional) Install Ruins of Kunark
- (optional) Install Scars of Velious
- (optional) Shadows of Luclin
2) Patch fully and restart the patch program until it is skinned and finished
3) Download this eqhost (right click - save as) into your everquest directory, overwriting the existing file.
4) Create a login account here (http://eq.gotfrags.com:443/)
5) Run eqw.exe (http://eqw.eqhackers.com)in your everquest directory for the windowed client
OR
Run eqgame.exe patchme in your everquest directory for full screen client
6) Select "Primary Display" as your graphic device
7) At the login screen, enter the account/password you just created
8) Select a server from the server list
NOTE: Number of players online is the number of zones currently up



when he says skinned and finished whats that mean? lol sorry im kinda of a newbie. also all i wanan so is play on the got frags server is this all i need to do? jsut do what this guide says cause i did and i get this erro 1002 saying i have a incorrect version but im patched all the way to march 7th patch what do i do? :(

I've edited the client installation guide to reflect the fact that the login port is currently 5997. As for "skinned and finished", the patch program needs to be run twice in order to fully patch. The first time after installation uses the basic-looking patch program. You must restart it, thereby running the new and skinned patch program in order to get the latest updates.
