My problem lies within this post, if your wishing to actually help, you would read completely through it and see the problem to help me

Ok, origionally i had my server running, i went out of the house (no-one home to touch the computer), left my server on with no other applications running but winmysqladmin.exe using my eq database . . . .

I come back, it shows my server as still running but my other computer that was logged in to the server was kicked to the server select screen and it said my server was locked. I try logging back in, i get a 1017 error . . . i try it once more since sometimes doing it a second time, will allow it to go through to connect and enter the server

I immediatly closed my server, then started to try to debug my server to find and fix the problem and here are my results

One thing, sadly, is that i did not think to copy the zone.exe history and world.exe history before i closed it all down, i was in a rush to get the 1017 error fixed . . . .

LoginServer.ini

Here is what my world.exe said

I figure, ok . . . . . different from what it was earlier when i logged in and had my server running, but it says its connected, so lets go ahead and bood up my boot10zones.bat (see below for info)

To be able to have more users i edited my boot5zones to boot10zones.bat

It's the same thing as boot5zones but, it WAS RUNNING and it connected and worked fine. Server was up, running and accepting other users (finally)

Its the same for all zone.exe's

Now, what i did to check if all the ip addresses were correct i typed in the ip that i'm using in the edit>replace menu in notepad. In the find box, I then put in the 66.***.***.*** as the replace and clicked replace all and it changed every one of them, so i know all the ip addresses are still the same as they were last night, im on cable modem, i go to whatismyip.com today and its still the same ip address

Now, i havent changed anything, nor have i sourced anything. Last night it works. This morning it works, i go into eqadmin and it shows all the accounts and charachters that have logged in, and for some reason now it ISNT working

*sigh*

A little assistance please?

*Sigh* sadly to say this problem was VERY EASY to fix . . . . . i had to make sure my dmz address stays the same as my local ip address on my router, my dhcp table on my router refreshed and changed my ip address and with Windows XP i guess it has an auto ipconfig /release /renew command because it shows my up changed, but i got it fixed and its working properly now (as it was last night) OH AND #ZONE NOW WORKS!

I had that problem with eqlive. Once I set DMZ correctly, I stopped getting punted every 10 minutes.

I haven't hosted a server for a long time. You might want to ask someone else.
