cannot login to minilogin?

Ok, I have been searching these boards for the last two hours (yes, really lol).

Anyhow, I can connect just fine to gotfrags, and get in servers (even my own).

But I *cannot* login when using minilogin. I originally downloaded the release from the main page (not the list from SF). Using the minilogin.exe that came with that package will NOT work with 2.4PR6 (incorrect version when I run world.exe).

I downloaded the old original release of minilogin.exe (from 1/22) and that lets the world come up. But then the eq client gives me the friggin 1002 error (incorrect version). I am running Luclin, with the latest EQ patch (guess that's the problem?) if that helps...

Is there anyway to still use gotfrags to login to my server, but have admin status *only on my server*?! Kinda boring running around a totally empty zone ;)

You need the latest EQ patch, 0.2.3 final DB.sql (can be found on sourceforge page), 0.2.4 PR5 newdbstruct.sql (found in hogies folder) ( http://www.eqemu.net/hogie ) and 0.2.4 PR6 files including upgrade.sql. yes i know its a big hassle but what can ya expect for free lol...


0.2.5 should be a little more easier to install and run.
