Crashing after load screen

Get to load screen
Says its loading character files, armor blah blah
BOOM!

not sure whats up, please gimme a hand if ya know how to fix this

I'd like to bump this, I have the exact same problem entirely at random. It loads up the various files and the bar fills, then Everquest inexplicably minimizes, where it subsequently (and without an error popup) crashes and closes itself. Sometimes, oddly enough, I can get onto a server, but the circumstances around it seem entirely random. Any ideas?

The problem is fairly common - try removing EQ, patching eqlive, patching eqemu, and playing again. It's a long request, and it might not fix the problem.
