Good call image. He's talking out his ass about the whole scrambled IP thing. We do that here too, cept you can't play EQ on EQEmu if you don't allow UDP connections to specific internal IPs. So if he can play EQ, you have to have a way for tracert to return a specific internal IP (unless they use packet-shaping, which costs a bundle)

Quite frankly, I'm pretty sure I can tell if I can play eq on eqemu or not, and nobody made you an expert on the type of network our school has. Before you go off on a flame-war over something you know absolutely nothing about, make sure that you have your facts. I can tell you,

1. I can play Eq over EqEMu, so stfu.
2. I went to every computer in the dorm, every single one of them was blocked from the channel, so stfu.
3. You have no better idea of what type of network we have here than I do, so stfu.
4. Even if you did, I know for sure that the above three things are happening, so stfu.

You have no right to come on to this forum and get into an argument that is none of your business. I would appreciate if you would allow me and the administrators of the chat room handle this amongst ourselves, since it is our problem, not yours. If you have a suggestion or a rant about this, keep it to yourself. And I strongly remind and encourage you to not post about off-topic things in this forum, since it is against the rules. Good day

I have looked at the bannings in the last day. image did the right thing, and I stand behind him. He banned the ONE address he was coming from, not like *.aol.com (which I do a lot). If you have a problem with someone else at YOUR school messing up communication to us, why dont you go bash in their head with a baseball bat? That would knock some sense into them (I hope).

I for one see this as a non-issue. Go gank the trouble maker, dont post negative things on my server.
