If you are in the market for a server for EQEmu, or for a regular computer system go here ->
www.elite-pc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6 (http://www.elite-pc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6)

A portion of the profits (15%) will be donated to EQEmu.net for servers, or split between EQEmu.net, and the server op of your choice for full systems.

the idea is pretty cool...if u used Intel procs I'd think about it ;-) (only speaking from 30+ years real-world experience, so don't flame me for liking Intel)

ok, I just realized that someone with a brain will most likely point out that Intel hasn't been around that long. I know that, but I have. ;-)

Actually you were right the 1st time..

Intel was founded in 1968, they released the 4004 in 71..

So, 2003 - 1968 = 35 years...

Ok, since no one else has mentioned it, the other forum says that 15% of $216 is around $3, it is actually $32.40 ect... He mistakenly gave 1.5% as the example donation ammounts.

I assume he meant 15% of his profits. I expect his profits are about 10% so he's donating 15% of that.

You got me again Trumpcard. Good call though, I didn't even know that. Know what would be great? If Motorola made PC procs, and not just EEPROMS and such. The 68HC11 is a nice chip.

Yea, RISC processors are superior to CISC chips anyday of the week if you ask me.

You can always buy a MAC if you want a motorola chip.. I've heard OSX is pretty smooth.. MAC's are pretty limited in alot of aspects if you ask me, but I have to hand it to them for making a nice case design if nothing else, and picking a good CPU.
