Hi
Im sorry if I put this in the wrong forum, but the other forums are about connecting/server probs.
Basically, Ive never played everquest. Ages ago it came free with a PC magazine so I bought it, and played the 15 day free trial for well... 15 days.
Back then this emulator was still being developed so my free copy of eq wasn't working properly on it. But today i decided to have another go connecting and alas, I got myself connected and walking around the world.
Now my problem, as I said above, Ive never played EQ. The search turned up results like I should play the real EQ first but this is not an option. I am not willing to pay the monthly fee.
I chose Wood Elf / Druid and I started in a large forest with buildings in the trees. Im wondering what are the good sites to get people like me started with EQ, where are the usual populated areas? I cant think what the server was, but it was the only populated server with about 50 players on. Basically just after a website with a get starting guide or something like that.
Thanks
