Remaking Sol A was alot of fun and I want to continue to re-create zones but I need reliable data to do the zones I don't know by heart. What i mean by reliable data is I mean a website with NPC pictures, level ranges, hp, classes, loot drops and spawn locs. I don't currently subscribe to any EQ sites, but I will if any of those out there have that sorta data avaliable. The free ones I have been browsing are really lacking and many of them have inacurate data.

Thanks.

If your really intent on recreating EQlive, a notion I just don't understand, then Allakhazams would be useful. The info for members is pretty extensive. I don't know that it's still the most accurate, I haven't played in a couple years.

On the other hand, you could just create your own content from scratch. It's not as difficult as you might think. And you avoid the massive headaches of trying to get all the disparate pieces of information, from numerous sources, integrated and into the database.

I guess I am all about duplicating the EQ Live world because I love to recreate stuff, not just EQ, but anything in general. I like to test myself with something to compare my work to, which in this case is live EQ.

I did some self made content last year (Tigurius server) and it was fun for awhile but it is just alot of work and time to upkeep. Players got ahead of me and I couldn't make content fast enough for them and I sorta lost intrest when people were getting mad because they finished all the content I made.

Maybe I will go back to do something original some time soon.

I produced the mod NeverQuest for Neverwinter Nights.. and I would love to see EQLive recreated. I was about to start work on an database as close to live as i could get it, but if you are doing so then let me know how i could help.

And

Are there any Dev positions open ?

Dragon's Den (Uber Legit)

Come play. It has been rated the most stable, enjoyable, and up server by almost everyone who plays on it and enjoys Uber Legitness.

(I remember you Drizz :P )

i logged onto your server, as a gnome necro...
started of in the mines of akanon waited till i had a full set of buffs and then headed for the door out the mines, but i didnt make it, someone decided to put an agro mob that kills a newb first hit everytime...

ive also noticed all the servers have akanon and steamfont totally screwed...

it doesnt have to be like EQlive but geeze, lemme out of the town, and put actual newbie mobs in the newbie zone...
