host=localhost
user=Senallron
password=******
database=eq
compression=off

### --- This file tells world.exe what computer mySQL is on. Host should
### --- be left "localhost" unless mysql is on a differant computer than world.exe.

loginserver.ini
### --- This file tells world.exe what loginserver to connect to.
### --- Leave the account and password field BLANK.

### --- Public Login is un-supported as is LAN playing. We reccomend using the EQEmu.net Loginserver ALWAYS.

### --- NOTE: Starting 6-1-2002, you can no longer use the word "Server" in worldname.
### --- NOTE2: the word "Server" is added to each server automaticly.

Well, sir. You might have several problems or just one but the main one you should be concerned with right now is:

"Failed to connect to database: Error: #1045: Access denied for user: 'Senallron@ " Get that working first :) then come back.

Ok...i'll be concerned with that first....but i still have no idea HOW to fix it....that would be lots more helpful than just saying what i need to fix....
Thanks

Well, forgive me for assuming you read the readme ... what you need to do is make sure MySQLAdmin is running (if you are running WindowsXP ctrl+alt+del look under the process window and look for a mysql-***.exe program running - or a small green stop light in your tray window). If you have that running go to this link ... ignore all the eqemu downloads but the mysql ... follow it along and make sure you did exactly what it says (i.e. the commands to type into mysql)

http://forums.eqemu.net/viewtopic.php?t=6904

If you are 100% sure you did all that is on that page, come back and I'll provide more help.

Sorry for kinda snapping at ya zern...was real tired and just wanted to find simple instructions for fixing that......I'll try whats on that page with mysql commands and such, and if that doesnt work, well.......I'm just going to redo the whole thing and start from scratch....I'll post back when I'm done (hopefully it'll be working...... :D )
