So with the new changes of EQemu coming to us i am wondering, i know this is somewhat of a punishment for some people using the same folder for EQlive and EQemu to save them the extra space on their drives and for other reasons im sure.
My question is, since now they are going to log everything i.e. when you log on ect.. Are they going to just log from that EQemu folder, or is it going to be we have a choice, EQlive or EQemu? any thoughts would be nice. The emulator works great, but just wanted to get this issue clear to my understandings.

How come you want a choice? You should have 2 folders.

We are only going to log what you download for eqemu. If you use it once, you are never going to be a problem (ie, why you need 2 folders). If you keep using our bandwidth to download everyday (which MANY of you are), we will know exactly who you are, and show it on a webpage that anybody can view and know who you are.

Of course, that's only a top 20 list or whatever, the extreme people that use over 10mb a month (yes, 10mb for patching a month should be your max, not like the 300megs 1 person has done so far this month).

I personally have four folders one for local one for my private server using minilogin one for regular eqemu and one for winters roar. Suck it up drive space is CHEAP.

hehe i am there with you i now have 5 copies of eq on my comp. 2 for live (eqw is my best friend), 2 for eqqmu , and 1 that i am playing around with as a local server. Hard drives are not that expensive these days and eq only takes up what almost 3 gigs. ya ya ya bla bla bla and have a good day.
