Hey everyone,

I am thoroughly impressed with EQEmu, I think its great. I started looking into running my own server on the lan here at home and finally got everything working (except for the patch process :D). It's really easy to use, once I got it all figured out. Downloading everything and patching EQ over my 56k was a bit tiresome, but everything else was awesome.

Anyway, I noticed some people had posted on the boards saying they were having trouble finding their external IP, especially if they're behind a firewall or router. There's a great little program for that, called Follow-Me IP. Runs in the system tray and reports your IP. You can find out what your IP is just by double-clicking on the icon in the system tray, and it reports accurately even from behind a firewall or router. here's a link fmip.org (http://www.fmip.org).

Hope that helps.
