I have totally set up my server and i got it working without my router plugged in, but i have trouble when i plug my router in, the server goes up but nobody can connect to it ( i have the ip for login and boot5zones set to my internal one)

is it at all possible to put my server up so that people can connect to it while my router is plugged in?

I would really appreciate any help.

Set your router onto DMZ mode to your comp (no, I won't explain this, because each router is different)

Set your boot5zones as follows

Internal IP 7995 External IP

and then your loginserver.ini to your external ip

Vash_0101 ,
If you get it working and others connecting behind the router let us know. Also, do we know what ports are used by eqemu so that we might be able to open them ? I searched the site but didn't find what I was looking for. If I just missed it please paste the link here. Thanks.

All you need to do is set up port forwarding.

The ports you need to forward depend on what is in your settings. For example, by default, port 5999 is the port for the minilogin server (found in LoginServer.ini) and 7995 - 7999 are the default for the zone servers (found in Boot5Zones.bat)
