Packet Collector?

This post is in regards to Merth's Tutorial (http://forums.eqemu.net/viewtopic.php?t=9201) on reverse engineering.

Could there be a packet collector on the way for common folk like me? I'd gladly operate one.

I assume that if you can decrypt packets, you would just like to collect packet data from a host to learn why it does what it does so that you can add new features.

Yes, there is a new packet collector. It may very well be beneficial to packet collect as much as we can - if the changes on test make it to live soon, all of our current work would go to waste.
