dont know if you know this merth...but i see your server is on for previewing now but i dont think anyone can get on...everytime i try and log on i get a 1017 error and its only your server giving it to me... just thought id say somethin just in case cus ive havent seen anyone on it since you brought it up for previewing

It's a LoY Preview. You must not be using the EQLive client.

I get the same error code. I'm not the world's brightest when it comes to computers so would be possible for someone to tell me what I have to do to be able to log into your server?

Hmm... maybe I did it wrong, but I still get the 1017 error code. Also the server says 0 population. Am I the only one that wants to try this server and can't? Or is there others with the same problem I am having? =\

This server is completely unsupported at this point. Some people have figured out how to get in.

If you can't figure out how to get in, you'll just have to wait for the official release. I'm sorry, I don't wish to spend any time supporting this version of the server.

PS: Everyone who joins the server is automatically given GM status - to allow access to all functionality. I actually had one genius petition and demand I make him a GM.

well.... can log into the server but cant get past the char select. haha.. have no UI files or character files and still get UI error. guess ill wait till its realeased

I was able to pop into Merth's a couple times and start up a Froglok character.

Like Merth said, it's still in Preview mode while he works on it, so there's only a few things you can do on there. Only the #zone and #spawn commands work it said when I logged in. Combat appeared to be broken at the moment and I was unable to #zone into any of the new LoY zones.

I'm looking forward to the next major release, should be tons of fun. Keep up the good work guys. :)

lol, i have 3 directorys of EQ now, 4.4, EQlive, and now LC1
