I'm not very familiar with Enrage on live. I thought that Enrage allowed a mob to riposte every attack (hit or miss) from the 120 degree frontal arc. Is this how it's supposed to work?
I noticed in the emu, it seemed more like it made the mob invulnerable to melee attacks. There was no apparent riposte either. Special monk attacks (flying kick) still hit.
I'm just curious.

Yes. And the mob can't be hit from that side.

Even when the mob is enraged it can still be hit. All attacks from player to mob are reposted regardless of whether that player actually lands a hit. The current programming in Emu is incorrect or just flat out bugged because it wont allow any dmg to the mob when it enrages but will allow procs from ur weapon(s).

Procs will still land during enrage. All attacks from the back will as well.

Thats correct but the Emu will not allow u to hit the mob when it enrages and u are attacking within the -/+ 120 deg field.
I think all of the special attacks need to be tweaked and cleaned up in the Emu.

Unless things have changed (which is entirely possible, since I havent played EQlive in some time) a successful riposte blocks the attack, as well as making a return attack. So you should not be able to hit an enraging mob. So, I believe the Emu is, basically, correct.

You can attack an NPC from behind while it's enraged.
