Is there a way to get a mob to drop the same item more than once?

I want mob to drop 2 of the same custom item that I've made. I've tried changing the multiplier in the Loot Table. When that didn't work I tried creating 2 entries in the Loot Drop Table, each one dropping the item and put both those loot drops into the mobs Loot Table.

In each of those attempts, the mob only droped 1 of the item.

Is there something I'm missing?

I know on live mobs drop mutliple items, even if they're lore... so I'd imagine you just have to tweak with it
