Alright now, lets not go throwing stones at people. This article is written to be as damming as possible. I don't know about this school personally but one in costa rico was shut down because of this kind of talk and guess what, they stormed the school and just turned the kids out on the street no calls home nada all the sudden they had several hundred kids walking a major city looking for drugs and anyone who would hook them up. Everyone under level three left almost all the kids at level 3 and above did everything they could to help keep their fellow kids out of harms way. Now the government there is being charged by the US and other countries for mistreating children and human rights violations due to their actions. I personally know one of these children he will tell you to your face the school was the best thing that happened to him. He is smart and very articulate. I just think before you go posting stuff like this you make sure and have both sides of the coin on the story. The parents I have spoken to arn't nazis they are out of options for thier child. Most of them were at the point where they had to choose to ether kick a 15 or 16 year old out on the street or send them to a place like this school for the safety of thier other children at home and maybe just maybe save their childs life, if not from death then from a horrible adulthood spent on drugs, booze and in jail. Articles on the internet are a powerful thing, I personally have a hard time taking a on line newspaper seriously when they advertise a napster replacement and redirect you to a kazza site when you visit them.
And thats all I have to say about that.

only ppl who fear these places are the people who might actually end up in one, think on that one kfreak
i KNOW i will never end up in a place like that because i had respect and humility as a child, cuz my parent knew when to spank me and all
they were good parents, and i ended up a fine indiviual, all these new kids threathening with social services and all are the real problem, they cry like bitches to the social worker and then get the parents thrown in jail
in th emean time th ekids go to a foster home or a relative's place and they just turn more worse than when it all began
so i kinda like the place exsisting, keeps kidswho think they own the world on their toes
heh heh heh

Even if you can't communicate...LOL....
Just kidding..
I tend to agree, this if anything else I would say is a good reason to keep your act together if you're a teenager..
The simple facts of life is there is accountability, responsibility, and punishment for your actions. If you push and push and push, eventually youre going to push to far. The world owes you nothing, and just because your parents will put up with your crap doesnt mean anyone else will.
I would prefer to see my child spend 3 years in a place like this to straighten his butt out, as opposed to spending the rest of his life in prison.

Seriousely though, I don't think its right to 'reprogram' someones way of thinking. I know that if I went to that place I wouldn't give in to none of that shit. I would probably never get any 'points'...I think its silly to say that 'If I didn't go here, I would be poor' I would rather be poor homeless me then some rich ass who has no mind of his own. I guess they can straiten up as their life progresses, but with the people in the news report it seemed like there lives where ruined. Really though, I don't trust media. I wish there was a place that gave just plain old 'news' without opinions or opinions that are separate from the 'news' so that you are allowed to make your own opinion. I don't really know shit about that place, so I can't be allowed to make an opinion.
EDIT: "She's so polite now, I wouldn't know her. They all look so happy!" Now thats what im talking about. Bleah! Who wants a perfect polite kid? Thats crap.

Who wants a rotten child who steals your car and your possessions, and the government won't punish? Enter my cousin Chris. He's an adopted child of my uncle and aunt, who have two normal, happy, older children.
Chris routinely uses their car to commit robberies. He damages the property of others. He fights, swears, and is entirely disrespectful to everyone around him. He has been this way at every family gathering. He is too rambunctious for me and my family. He threatened my sister with a broken bottle, and tried to rape her and attack her in a barn (yeah yeah, my grandpa's from the same city as Steve McQueen) at a family reunion. He was maybe 11, and about a year younger than my sister.
The worst part of this is that the government tells his parents to deal with him. They pay for his thefts, and deal with his destruction of their property (vehicles, tv's, home). He does short stints in juvy, and then is set free to do the same things over again. He doesn't attend school, and he has ambitions of being a professional criminal.
What other solutions do you have in mind for a child like this? Someone needs to stop taking his crap, and MAKE him follow some rules. Until he learns to follow the rules, he's maladjusted to the standard human interaction requirement of this country. He's a PROBLEM. There are two major solutions to his problem, too.
1: He does something stupid and dies
2: He does something smart and reforms
I think this reform camp is the only solution left for a rotten little bastard like him. Even deportation is too bad, because we'd be setting him loose on some unsuspecting natives.

"Who wants a rotten child who steals your car and your possessions, and the government won't punish?"
No body, but what im saying as someone should have a mind of there own and not act like there perfect, or even expect it. I do agree that really bad stupid kids should be punished very indescrimatately. Im not saying I disagree with what they are doing in general, but you sure as hell shouldn't try to 'reprogram' someones intire way of thinking like they are computers.

Presinally the ideah in general freaks me out. it sounds like a cult to me. from what i read about this in that article (mayby it is to damning i dunno.) it seems like alls they are doing to the kids is brainwash.
using old memories agenst the kid is harsh... i know i cant go to sleep at night cuz of a few memories in my head...but lets not get into that im not here to tell a sob story.
now that part of the world has allways been known for weird black market type of things that anyone can agree with me on... i dunno it sounds suspicious... even not haveing read this article i could say that.
now that boy you talked about who said that this thing was the best thing that ever happend to him.. mayby it was who am i to say what someone feels. but not to offend anyone...can you honestly say that that is really what his heart says?
just my two cents!
love and oodles.
