Heyas All,
I'm new to EQEMU, Honestly- I haven't played yet.. But waiting for my main comp to get back from the shop.. One night i called a buddy of mine and we were chattin and such and he told me about eqemu, I was at first thinking it would be lame, because I have been playing everquest for 5 years and I'm so used to doing things the old fashioned way. But, anyways- I have 3 characters that I'm wanting to trio roleplay-

But the deal is, I'm looking for a good server to play on. I wouldnt have a problem with starting at 60 and getting my own AA, but I'm wondering which server would be a good one for me to join with my 3 amazing characters. I'm into reg and PVP gameplay- just want something fun to do when i get tired of the real eq world- my guild raids constantly 3 times or more a day, and it tends to get tiring. heh-

Well, assuming those ARE your eqlive characters (can never tell), i would say your best bet would be to pick one you like the best and get a server transfer to Veeshan. then join FoH.

Or, forget it all together, sell the account(s) on ebay as-is, then buy a brand new car and a nice HOUSE with the money you got selling it. because i KNOW you need a car. (if those are your real EQ characters) i can guarantee you live in a 1 bedroom apartment by yourself with pizza boxes and coke cans littering the carpet and you take the bus to the supermarket when you need to buy more! Then again, i dont think those are your eqlive characters. who the heck has 9999999999PP in the bank, max AA's on 3 chars and wants to play EQEmu? first off, any good guild would disband you if you played more than 1 char that much.


Back to your question though, there is no real "good" eqemu server right now. No one has all the mobs spawned properly nor is there a whole lot of loot (especially on "non-legit" servers). If you really want to try it, you should sort the list and go to the one with the most people. if it says non-legit in the title then you will be able to summon any item, probably make yourself 65, and be able to run around showing off that you know more about good EQ armor than anyone (but then people inspect you and summon the same junk for themselves).
That aside, your not going to be able to play at all unless you havnt patched since december (which i doubt you have). The only couple servers that work with the current EQLive client are usually locked and are barely working (although they are slowly getting better).

i didnt want his name gettin out for me bein on eqemu, cuz its against the eula- I also had a 61shaman but i let a "friend" barrow it and the next day password was changed, I called in keys but when i got account back it was banned. Shitty huh? yup.

Can i get the name of the server you were talking about tho? where i could summon ay items i want please? Thanks Much-

Thank You MerthEQ, and the rest of the Dev. Team, but, I already read that and understood it. What I am asking, is what would be the best server for me to play on- being able to create the characters I made on Magelo? And, again- I do not mind starting at 60 and getting my own AA points, but I just want to be able to summon the armor. Thanks Much- :worship:

I think what he meant is he's going to make those 3 chars on a server, not that their his Legit chars on live... He was asking a good server to do this. I'd suggest Krusher's or any Semi Legit server... Non-Legit and you... well, yeah. Non-legit = 255/1 weapons with effect Manaburn and shit... so. Try Semi-Legit it's lots of fun, Or guildwars (completely Legit but awesome, Thanks LE) Good non-legit server is Merth's but it currently is testing so barely any content, That Phoenix server is good too, if you wanna go all blown out. Sometimes if you're angry you can go there and summon everyone and kill them, but that's not nice. ---

:twisted: Hehe- yup, that's what i was planning on doing, I haven't played eq in about 3 months now, my personal comp blew so i just baught this new one.
I'm not planning on playing eq on this comp atm because I'm not really sure if i want to mess up another comp with spammed eq files (takes up waaayyy too much memory). I just want to make those characters to play around with when i get bored of eqlive, or when i want to just go mess around with my friend that told me about EQemu.
I think that when my comp gets out of the shop I will deffenitally check out The Phoenix Server- Sounds mad cool, I think I would most deff have some fun on it! :mrgreen:

PVP servers are listed as PVP in the server list... guildwars is a good one.

Actualy pvp servers aren't listed by the login server and maybe should be. It is up to the server admin to put a (PvP) in the server name
